Metanoia Privacy Policy

Effective September 17, 2026. Metanoia is made by Christopher Mosley (“we,” “us”).

Summary

We do not sell your personal information. Prayer and journaling do not require an account. Your journal stays on your device.

Information on your device

Journal entries, prayer preferences, and similar content are stored locally on your device. We do not operate a Metanoia cloud journal service.

Screen Time / Digital Metanoia

If you enable optional Digital Metanoia, Apple Screen Time / Family Controls APIs may run on your device to apply the guardrails you choose. App selection and monitoring stay under Apple’s Screen Time system on your device. We do not receive another person’s Screen Time data for parental surveillance.

Purchases

Optional subscriptions and Lifetime unlock are processed by Apple through In-App Purchase. Apple handles payment details. We may receive non-sensitive purchase status (for example, whether Digital Metanoia is active) via StoreKit on your device.

Analytics and tracking

We do not sell your data. If any analytics are added later, this policy will be updated before they collect personal data.

Children

Metanoia is not directed at children under 13. Do not submit personal information of children under 13 to us.
